PITCH PRESENTATION

INITAL THOUGHTS AFTER RE-WATCHING MY PITCH.

To say that I feel 20 minuets was quite a long time to do a pitch, I think I could of improved the timing by actually making a script for my presentation to make it more short and sweet but I decided on just using some bullet points and short paragraphs to use as inspiration. Its clear to see from the video that I am really excited to start filming the video and that I've got good ideas for what to include.

Possibly I could of made my pitch more engaging to the audience and teacher by including more interactive sequences such as the example music and the questions slide by including questions that I thought the teacher would of asked but I will admit to myself that I slightly rushed the editing of the slides and I feel I could of maybe gone into more detail on the research slide but that goes hand in hand with the run time of the pitch, I wouldn't want to make the pitch even longer than it already was!

POSITIVES- IN MY OPINION

I had a clear idea of what type of video I want to make and how I want the editing style to be.

The pitch came across quite professional in the way the presentation was set up and the quality of the slideshow.

Certain elements such as the interactive parts with the examples of his previous work I feel was a good addition that allowed the teacher and the audience to get an idea of Lil skies intended demographic as well as his subject matter of his songs.

The main positive is the fact that my first choice got the so called "Green light" and was given the go ahead, I feel me including the back up song on my slide for just in case my first choice didn't go to plan was a brilliant idea that also allowed the teacher to see where I was in terms of what I really felt connected too when it comes to artists and song choice.

NEGATIVES- IN MY OPINION

20 minuets is a timespan that can either keep the audience engaged the whole way through or it can go the other way and cause the audience in this case my teacher to lose intrigue but thankfully the 20 minuets was just right where he didn't lose any interest but if I was able to short it down by a few mins would of been better I think.

Time Line

This is a time line of events I created on November 1st to help me understand what I need to finish as well as the time span I have to complete said tasks. This is useful to me as it allows me to have a solid idea of how much time I should spent on each task, this is great of time management.
